rs_560x415-130808160741-1024.BryanAaron.ms.080813_copyYeah, bitch!

Aaron Paul is not ready to leave Jesse Pinkman and for this we are thankful. A source close to Better Call Saul, AMC’s highly anticipated Breaking Bad spinoff, recently spilled the beans that everyone’s favorite sidekick meth cook is in talks for a recurring role when the show debuts in November.

Casting will officially begin at the end of the month, and production begins in May, but the source says the show’s creative team is already talking to Paul about reprising his role—for more than one episode.

The producers also mentioned they very much want Bryan Cranston to appear for a cameo or two, and he has said he is game.

Go on and get your “Yeah, bitch!” out of your system, we’ll wait.

Songs offer messages of hope at Sandy benefit show

Steven Tyler, Jimmy Fallon, Mark Rivera, and Bruce Springsteen, perform during "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" in New York

Steven Tyler, Jimmy Fallon, Mark Rivera, and Bruce Springsteen, perform during “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together” in New York

From “Livin’ on a Prayer” to “The Living Proof,” every song Friday at NBC’s benefit concert for superstorm Sandy victims became a message song.

New Jersey’s Jon Bon Jovi gave extra meaning to “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.” Billy Joel worked in a reference to Staten Island, the decimated New York City borough. The hourlong event, hosted by Matt Lauer, was heavy on stars and lyrics identified with New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area, which took the brunt of this week’s deadly storm. The telethon was a mix of music, storm footage and calls for donations from Jon Stewart, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg and others.

The mood was somber but hopeful, from Christina Aguilera‘s “Beautiful” to Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” and a tearful Mary J. Blige‘s “The Living Proof,” her ballad of resilience with the timely declaration that “the worst is over/I can start living now.” Joel rocked out with “Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway),” a song born from crisis, New York City’s near bankruptcy in the 1970s, while Jimmy Fallon endured a faulty microphone and gamely led an all-star performance of the Drifters’ “Under the Boardwalk” that featured Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Steven Tyler. The Aerosmith frontman then sat behind a piano and gave his all on a strained but deeply emotional “Dream On.” Sting was equally passionate during an acoustic, muscular version of The Police hit “Message In a Bottle” and its promise to “send an SOS to the world.”

The show ended, as it only could, with Springsteen and the E Street Band, tearing into “Land Of Hope and Dreams.”

“God bless New York,” Springsteen, New Jersey’s ageless native son, said in conclusion. “God bless the Jersey shore.”

The stable of NBC Universal networks, including USA, CNBC, MSNBC, E! Entertainment, The Weather Channel and Bravo, aired the concert live from the NBC studios in Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan, several blocks north of where the city went days without power. Millions of people for whom the benefit was organized couldn’t watch the event because they had no electricity.

NBC Universal invited other networks to televise the event, but not everyone signed on.

That might have something to do with network rivalries.

In the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the networks organized a benefit together behind the scenes and it was televised on more than 30 networks simultaneously, including all the big broadcasters.

After Hurricane Katrina, NBC televised its own benefit before the other broadcasters, one that became best known for Kanye West’s off-script declaration that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” The other broadcasters cooperated on their own telethon a week later, and NBC televised that one, too.

Also this year, NBC organized and scheduled a telethon and gave others the chance to air it.

Others declined to televise Friday’s telethon, even though ABC parent Walt Disney Co. said it would donate $2 million to the American Red Cross and various ABC shows will promote a “Day of Giving” on Monday. The CBS Corp., Viacom Inc., parent of “Jersey Shore” network MTV, Fox network owner News Corp. also announced big donations to the Red Cross.

Khloé Kardashian Odom Admits to “a Little Nip Action” During X Factor Debut

Khloe Kardashian on The X-Factor

Khloe Kardashian on The X-Factor

The talent, the judges and the brand-new hosts weren’t the only thing The X Factor viewers were buzzing about after tonight’s show.

“I think the air conditioning is on high tonight looking at Khloé,” Simon Cowell tweeted midshow, a sentiment he actually echoed out loud in telling Khloé Kardashian Odom, in herX Factor debut, that she looked absolutely lovely tonight.

But because not everyone is as hilarious as Simon, a lot of fans didn’t understand, prompting a cheerful explanation from Khloé herself.

Bring yourself up to speed with our recap of tonight’s X Factor

“I think I had a little nip action earlier LOL ‘@WeLoveKhloeKO: i dont get the air conditioning joke…” the rarely shy E! star tweeted after the show, the first live episode of the season.

Sure enough, Khloé’s figure-accentuating blouse, depending on how the light was hitting her, tended to be a bit see-through.

But do you think that bothered her one bit?

“Already half way into the show – and I must say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new job!!!” she tweeted midway through, right around the time Simon was busy being clever.

And after the show was over, Khloé had places to be.

“Thank you guys so much for tuning in to The X Factor tonight!!! Now I’m rushing to Staples for the Clipper game!!!!” she wrote as she dashed off to watch hubby Lamar Odom make his regular-season debut with the Clippers (since he first debuted with them in 1999, that is).

And the Clippers won tonight, 101-92 over Memphis, so… it was a great night of firsts all around!

Hulk Hogan Planning Lawsuit Over Sex Tape Leak

Hulk Hogan Sex Tape

Wrestling star Hulk Hogan is threatening legal actions against anyone who continues to display his recently leaked sex tape video footage online.

Hulk Hogan intends to sue over the grainy sex tape footage that found its way online this week, a lawyer for the Hogan Knows Best star tells E! News.

Attorney David Houston wouldn’t say exactly when their lawsuit will be filed, or who the intended targets are, but he said in no uncertain terms that they are “commencing action.”

And that comes as no surprise. Houston told E! back in March, when news of the existence of the footage first broke, that they would sue to ensure no one profited from it.

Hogan’s partner in X-rated home-movie antics has not been identified. Houston said that his client was unaware that he was being recorded at the time.

An anonymous, er, donor slipped about 30 minutes of teaser footage to Gawker, which posted it yesterday. It’s unclear when the tape was made, but Hogan is seen checking his ringing phone to see if it’s his son, Nick, calling—an indicator that the recording was made sometime after Nick’s release from jail in 2008.

The Bachelor’s Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson Call It Quits

The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson

The Bachelor’s Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson

Wow. We did not see this breakup coming! Unless, of course, you were a fan of every other Bachelor and Bachelorette romance that has bitten the dust since those shows premiered, in which case you probably weren’t so optimistic about this relationship.

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson, the most recent betrothed couple to come out of The Bachelor, have broken up after nine months together, E! News has confirmed.

“After meeting over a year ago, we have decided to end our romantic relationship,” Flajnik and Robertson said in a joint statement. “The ups and downs weighed heavily on us both, and ultimately we started to grow apart because of the distance, time apart, and our need to focus on our respective careers.”

Those “ups and downs” could be in reference to the fact that Ben broke up with Courtney right after the finale, which he admitted on the After the Final Rose special.Or maybe it was the rumor that he cheated on her when photos surfaced of Ben kissing another girl?

Regardless of all that, their engagement was a rocky road from the beginning, which is why we thought they might make it work because they told us they were“taking it slow” and not in a any hurry to get married. But that was back in March, and now it seems that their slow time together did not help the relationship.

For those keeping score, after 16 seasons of The Bachelor, and seven seasons of The Bachelorette, only three couples are still together. If those people can’t find love on a television reality show, then what hope is there for the rest of us?

Christina Hendricks: Don’t Call Me “Full-Figured”

Christina Hendricks, shown here at the 64th annual Prime Time Emmy Awards, has been praised for her curvaceous body, but doesn't appreciate being called "full-figured."

Christina Hendricks, shown here at the 64th annual Prime Time Emmy Awards, has been praised for her curvaceous body, but doesn’t appreciate being called “full-figured.”

It’s no surprise that Christina Hendricks curvy, but be careful with your words.

During an interview between Sydney’s Sun-Herald fashion editor Kate Waterhouse and the Mad Men star, Hendricks refused to answer a question in which Waterhouse referred to her as a “full-figured woman.”

Waterhouse asked, “You have been an inspiration as a full-figured woman. What is the most inspiring story that you can remember where you’ve inspired someone?”

A flustered Hendricks giggles and then responds with, “Um, I don’t know…I’m sorry,” and looks to what we’re guessing is her publicist who asked the interviewer to rephrase the question—but she failed.

“You’ve been known as an inspiration for women as being a full-figure…” Waterhouse started, before the actress quickly pointed out, “I mean, you just said it again.”

The duo scrapped that question (thankfully) and resumed to talk about Hendrick’s event that was going on in Australia, but the star reportedly later said backstage when cameras weren’t rolling, “I think calling me full-figured is just rude.”

Simon Cowell and Will.I.Am Plan A New Tech Based X-Factor

Will I Am Loyal Studios

Will I Am works on “Curiosity” at Loyal Studios in Burbank http://www.loyalstudios.tv

With hopes of finding the next Bill Gates of the modern tech age, television mogul, Simon Cowell, and Black Eyed Pea’s Will.i.am have partnered up for a collaboration which Will.i.am calls “… X Factor for Tech — and it’s going to be out of this world.”

The two allegedly had a “wicked dinner” in Los Angeles last month, as they discussed plans for their potential T.V. show, according to Will.i.am. He made the announcement for their idea at a technology conference held in England some time ago.

The idea for the new “Techs Factor” show has drawn a lot of comparisons with another reality television show called Shark Tank, where various entrepreneurs and inventors try and convince rich “Sharks” to invest in them and their idea.

Very similarly to this, Cowell and Will.i.am are out to find the next Bill Gates and Steve Jobs from the tech world, and if they can find and invest in them early on, their X Factor for tech could spell them some very big bucks.

Regardless of his motivations for the show, Will.i.am has been a strong supporter of bringing children closer

towards the math and sciences, with his charity work to raise over 7 million dollars for an East Los Angeles school that focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Education, and Math) principles. He has also been advocating and promoting STEM for some time now, and has worked with NASA on several STEM projects in the past.

On the other hand, it could be Simon Cowell’s attempt at another successful reality T.V. show, though when he broke away from American Idol he promised at least twenty million views for X Factor, which he failed to deliver. Regardless, we can keep it in mind among the next branch of upcoming television shows, and who knows, we might find out what the Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson of the tech world look like.

Seacrest: No problem with feuding judges

american idol judges

New judges for “American Idol,” from left, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj and during a news conference in New York.

Feuding divas on “American Idol“? Ryan Seacrest says that’s just great.

The show’s host said Wednesday that things got intense between new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey during a tryout taping the previous day in Charlotte, N.C.

Amid a dispute over a contestant, Minaj announced that she was no longer putting up with “her … Highness,” in a reference to Carey and with a few expletives added in.

Another new judge, Keith Urban, was in the unenviable position of sitting between the two of them.

On his radio show, Seacrest said “Idol” needs some passionate debate.

“It did get intense,” he said. “We want that. We want them to be on this panel together. This is a good team, a great team, to go out and look for the next American Idol … the feedback that they give is very good.”

“American Idol” is still the nation’s most popular show despite a dramatic fall-off in ratings last season that led to three new judges joining Randy Jackson. The show’s new season premieres in January.

A Fox representative said Wednesday the network has no comment on its feuding judges.

Suspect in killing was ‘Sons of Anarchy’ actor

Johnny Lewis

Actor Johnny Lewis posing for a portrait during the 36th Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada

Court records show “Sons of Anarchy” actor Johnny Lewis was released from jail a week before being found dead in his driveway after police say he apparently killed his landlady.

Los Angeles police said Thursday that the 28-year-old Lewis is the only suspect in the death of 81-year-old Catherine Davis, who was discovered slain inside the hillside home in Los Feliz.

Authorities say they are investigating Davis’ death and that it appears she was beaten. They say the actor died Wednesday after climbing atop the home and either jumping or falling to the ground.

Lewis played Kip “Half-Sack” Epps in the FX show.

Lewis pleaded no contest to assault with a deadly weapon and attempted burglary in separate cases this year, according to records.

He enrolled in a drug, alcohol and psychiatric treatment program over the summer, the records show.

Lewis was released from county jail Sept. 21.

As a condition of his probation in both cases, he was ordered not to use narcotics.

Lewis’ attorney Jonathan Mandel said Thursday he was “surprised” and “baffled” by the deaths.

Mandel declined to immediately comment on Lewis’s criminal history or possible drug problems pending consideration of client confidentiality requirements.

Before Lewis was discovered Wednesday morning, neighbors reported hearing a woman screaming in the home, said Los Angeles Police Cmdr. Andrew Smith.

Neighbors also told authorities that a man had jumped a fence, assaulted a painter and homeowner next door and jumped back.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were involved, but police are investigating that possibility based on the circumstances of the crime, Smith said.

Lewis had a career spanning more than a decade, mainly in small roles. He played Ricky in the 2007 movie “AVPR: Aliens vs Predator — Requiem” and was Dennis ‘Chili’ Childress for two seasons on TV’s “The O.C.”

His role in “Sons of Anarchy” came in 2008 and 2009.
