Miley Cyrus’ House Burglarized Day Before Her 21st Birthday

rs_293x473-131114120859-634.Miley-Cyrus-Bambi-Awards-jmd-111413Miley Cyrus’ birthday weekend did not get off to a good start.

The pop star’s house was burglarized on Friday, Nov. 22, the day before she turned 21.

LAPD confirms to E! News that a victim, whom they could not confirm was Cyrus, discovered property was missing from the home at around 4:30p.m.

The incident occurred sometime in the afternoon and nobody was injured. There were no signs of forced entry.

The investigation is ongoing.

Miley is busy gearing up for the 2013 American Music Awards and is spending her actual bday rehearsing for the annual awards show. The AMAs will be broadcast on Sunday, Nov. 24.

So what can we expect?

Sources familiar with Miley’s plans exclusively tell E! News that the singer will be singing her hit “Wrecking Ball”—and that she does plan on delivering a performance that’s tamer than the one she gave at the MTV Video Music Awards.

There will be no nudity, no wrecking ball and no licking of sledgehammers, all of which is prominently featured in the now much-parodied video for the Bangerz tune.

Once the AMAs are complete, Miley will host a private bash at the theater of Beacher’s Madhouse in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, a hot spot that the young singer often frequents.

Paris Hilton Dresses Up As Miley

Paris Hilton dressed up as Miley Cyrus arrives at the Playboy Mansion for a halloween party in Los AngelesWe’ve just gained a whole new level of respect for hotel heiress Paris Hilton.

The leggy blonde actually had us laughing out loud when we saw these pictures of her dressed up as Miley Cyrus for Hugh Hefner’s infamous Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion last night.

The Simple Life star, 32, wore a copy of Miley’s notorious VMA grey bear leotard (it even had the same pink fluffy ear bits!) and twisted her blonde locks in spikey Miley-esque buns for the spooky event in Los Angeles.

We half expected see the Stars Are Blind singer rip off her leotard to reveal a nude latex two-piece and start gyrating on a giant foam hand,  or Robin Thicke. But that didn’t happen – as far as we know.

She did, however, waggle her tongue around for the cameras in true Miley style. And we’ve got to hand it to Paris, we’ve seen some amazing celebrity Halloween costumes this year, but this one is definitely our fave.

The socialite added a splash of glamour to her outfit by accessorizing with a pair of red love-heart-shaped sunnies, some strappy nude stilettos and her dishy toyboy boyfriend, River Viiperi.

The 22-year-old Spanish model, who has been dating Paris for just over a year, was dressed in a long black coat and top-hat. We’re not quite sure what he was meant to be (our best guess is a funeral director), but we don’t care. Just looking at him makes us go all dreamy.

This morning, Paris, who played her first ever DJ set earlier this month, shared a personal snap she’d taken of her costume with her 12 million followers on Twitter, under the caption: “Twerk or treat.”

And now we’re starting to wonder what Miley will think of the whole thing. After-all, by dressing up as Miss Cyrus, Paris is basically saying the ex-Hannah Montana star ( and her VMA performance) was really rather frightening.

Maybe they’ll start penning open letters to each other…

Miley Cyrus on ‘SNL’: Twerktastic, or not?

If you expected twerking from Miley Cyrus during her Saturday Night Live gig, you were sorely disappointed.

“Now that white people are doing it, it seems kind of lame,” Cyrus said during a monologue that addressed her performance on the MTV Video Music Awards and the fate of Hannah Montana (“She was murdered”).

Other than an opening skit about her VMAs performance causing the end of America, Cyrus, who was both the show’s host and musical guest, mostly steered clear of controversy, like last week’s online exchange with Sinead O’Connor. She did, however, play a slutty Michele Bachmann in a We Can’t Stop parody video about the government shutdown. Other sketches featured her as Hillary Clinton in an MTV miniseries, a hip-hop-obsessed high-school student, a sullen morning-show anchor and Scarlett Johansson doing a screen test for Fifty Shades of Grey.

Cyrus kept the commentary and controversy out of her two musical performances. She dressed much more conservatively for her powerhouse performance ofWrecking Ball than she did in her music video, wearing a sheer sports jersey that revealed a black two-piece when backlit. She switched into a white outfit — though still with see-through elements — for a poignant version of We Can’t Stop, accompanied by three acoustic guitars.

Miley Cyrus: Jonas Brothers’ “Wedding Bells” Is About Me, It’s “Pretty Blatant, It’s Whatever”

Miley Cyrus tells it like it is.

During a candid chat with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Thursday, the 19-year-old bride-to-be said she thinks she’s it’s “pretty blatant” that she’s the subject of the Jonas Brothers‘ (read: Nick Jonas) new song, “Wedding Bells.”

“I don’t know anyone else who is getting married,” she said. Miley, who is now engaged to Liam Hemsworth, dated Nick back in their Disney days. In “Wedding Bells,” Nick sings wistfully about wanting to “try one last time” with a past love and not wanting to “hear the wedding bells chime.”

Not to mention, Nick sings about an anniversary that falls “11 nights into June.” In Miley’s autobiography, Miles to Go, she remembers “the exact date, June 11, 2006: It was the day I met my first love.”

Clearly though, she’s moved on. And this new JoBros song? “It’s whatever,” she said.

“I don’t know,” she backtracked a bit. “Wedding bells are in my future, so I don’t know.”

But there are no hard feelings on Miley girl’s part. “Like I said, everyone has to write songs that are about things that they felt and he even introduced that this isn’t the way that I am,” she said. “So, you can’t ever hate on someone for writing about something you’ve been through. I think that you kind of get a fair warning when you date an artist and someone that’s a writer—when you’re going through things that you’re going to end up hearing about it on the radio.”

Wise woman.

A man allegedly clutching a pair of scissors was arrested after police say he tried to force himself inside the Los Angeles home of Miley Cyrus.

Los Angeles police Lt. Brian Wendling says that employees inside the house in the Studio City area called police around 4 a.m. Saturday after the man came to the door and claimed to be a friend of the 19-year-old singer-actress.

Wendling says the suspect then repeatedly threw himself against an outside wall as if he was trying to break into the house. Cyrus was not home at the time.

The man, who was not identified, was arrested after officers saw him jump behind some bushes. He was carrying a pair of scissors.

Wendling says charges have not yet been filed.

Miley Cyrus tries to hide drastic new short haircut

Miley CyrusVanity, thy name is Miley.

Miley Cyrus can’t seem to stop sharing photos of her spunky new haircut on Twitter, but when it comes to other people’s cameras, the songstress is suddenly shy.

On Monday, just one day after debuting her drastic new cut on the social networking site, Cyrus tried to duck away from photographers by pulling her green flannel shirt over her platinum blond head.

“My dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me ‘opinions are like a– holes every body has one’,” she wrote on Sunday shortly after debuting her new hairstyle. “LOVE my hair, feel so happy, pretty and free.”

Reactions to the 19-year-old singer’s hair have been mixed, but some of her fans have taken to Twitter to express their own take on her funky new ‘do.

“Miley practically pulled a Britney,” one user wrote. “#ThisIsNotOkay. Goodbye princess hair.”

“I feel like Miley Cyrus is going to break down at any moment telling us all to leave Britney alone,” another wrote.

Cyrus, for her part, has been ignoring the naysayers and continues to constantly post photos of herself online.

“Self love is the greatest of all flatterers,” she wrote in one post, mugging for the camera with bright red lips.

“Energy flows where our intention goes,” she wrote in another uplifting post.

Late Sunday evening, the former Disney starlet officially hacked off her newly dyed hair following a few hours of cryptic messages.

“It’s happening,” she teased, along with a photo of hairstylist Chris McMillan just about to lop off her famous bun.

And finally: “If you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else’s and it’s going bye bye :)”
