Nothing dumb about it! Dumb and Dumber To has just added an A-list powerhouse to the cast — Jennifer Lawrence! The Oscar-winning actress is set to make a cameo in the Dumb and Dumber sequel, The Hollywood Reporter confirms. She will be playing the young version ofKathleen Turner’s character.

Lawrence, 23, has previously been vocal about her love for the 1994 film and other recent comedies. “I know every word to Dumb and Dumber, Step Brothers and Anchorman,” she told Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on Late Night in January. She even was tested by the host if she could recite a specific line from the comedy classic, which she could!

The quick cameo wasn’t hard to schedule. Lawrence is currently filming the third installment of Suzanne Collins’Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay – Part 1 in Georgia, the same state where Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are shooting the sequel.

On Sept. 24, Daniels, 58, shared a sneak peek with Carrey, 51, from set. “We’re back!” the Newsroom actor wrote via Twitter. Alongside the caption, Daniels (who just won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for the HBO show) shared a funny photo of the two returning to their familiar messy blonde hair and bowl-cut hairdo.

In the sequel to Peter and Bobby Farrell’s 1994 comedy, Carrey and Daniels’ Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne will be taking a road trip to find Harry’s long-lost daughter. Other stars in the cast include Rob Riggle, Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden and Steve Tom.
