Zachary Quinto and Jonathan Groff take a stroll together

Stop plotting ways to win Zachary Quinto‘s heart—it’s already taken.

The actor, who came out as gay last October, confirmed that he is in a relationship with Glee star Jonathan Groff, who plays Jesse St. James on the show.

“I’m incredibly happy, I’m incredibly lucky,” the 35-year-old told Out magazine about his romance with the 27-year-old TV star.

The duo have been spotted together numerous times, but their relationship hadn’t been confirmed until Quinto’s recent interview with the magazine.

And the actor admits it hasn’t been easy finding the type of companionship he has with Groff because he was “in a pattern of being attracted to people who were somehow unavailable.”

Luckily, Quinto was able to kick the bad habit with the help of therapy. “I had to do a lot of work on the couch to really get to a place where I was able to show up to a relationship with someone who was actually capable of being in one—and that took a lot of trial and error. And I’m still working on all that stuff—that will never stop.”
